Cancellation and No-show Policy for Wanderlust Dive Center

1. General Terms

  • By booking a course or diving experience with Wanderlust Dive Center, the customer agrees to the following cancellation and no-show conditions.

2. Digital Package Fees

  • Wanderlust Dive Center purchases a digital package for each participant through SSI once the reservation is confirmed. These costs are non-refundable and amount to $90 per participant. These fees will always be charged in the event of a cancellation, regardless of the timing.

3. Cancellation Conditions for Courses

  • Early Cancellation (14 days or more before start):
    • If you cancel 14 days or more before the start date of the course, the full course fee will be refunded, minus the cost of the digital package.
  • Standard Cancellation (7 to 13 days before start):
    • If you cancel between 7 and 13 days before the start date, 50% of the course fee will be refunded, minus the cost of the digital package.
  • Late Cancellation (less than 7 days before start):
    • If you cancel less than 7 days before the start date, no refund will be provided. The full course fee and the cost of the digital package will be charged.

4. Cancellation Conditions for Guided Dives

  • Early Cancellation (48 hours or more before start):
    • If you cancel 48 hours or more before the start time of the guided dive, the full amount will be refunded.
  • Late Cancellation (less than 48 hours before start):
    • If you cancel less than 48 hours before the start time of the guided dive, 50% of the amount will be charged.
  • No-show:
    • If a participant does not show up at the agreed date and time without prior notice, no refund will be given. The full amount will be charged.

5. Ownership of Digital Packages

  • After cancellation, the digital package remains the property of the customer. This package can be used by the customer to complete the course at any SSI dive school worldwide at a later time. The cost of the digital package is non-refundable, but the customer retains access to all study materials and course information.

6. Safety and Weather Conditions

  • The safety of our customers and instructors is our top priority. Wanderlust Dive Center reserves the right to cancel or postpone a dive or course due to adverse weather conditions or other safety reasons. In such cases, the customer will be rebooked at no additional cost or the full amount will be refunded.

7. Equipment and Responsibility

  • Participants are responsible for the proper handling of rented equipment. Damage or loss caused by improper use may result in additional charges, which will be billed to the customer.

8. Special Discounts and Offers

  • Cancellations or rebookings of courses or dives booked with a special discount or offer are handled according to the standard cancellation conditions unless otherwise stated in the terms of the specific offer.

9. Health and Medical Fitness

  • All participants are required to complete and sign a health declaration before starting a course or guided dive. If a participant does not meet the medical requirements, Wanderlust Dive Center reserves the right to refuse participation. In such cases, the standard cancellation conditions will apply.

10. Additional Cancellation Coverage

  • Customers have the option to purchase additional cancellation coverage when booking a course or guided dive. This coverage provides more flexibility for cancellation and rebooking.

11. Course Fees and Extensions

  • Course fees are valid for the duration of the course. If a participant does not complete the course within the agreed timeframe, additional costs may be charged for extending the course.

12. Feedback and Complaints

  • Customers are encouraged to provide feedback and submit any complaints in writing to Wanderlust Dive Center within 7 days after the course or guided dive. We strive to address all complaints within 14 days.

13. Payment Terms

  • When making a booking, the full course fee must be paid after the booking has been confirmed by Wanderlust Dive Center. Refunds are processed in accordance with the cancellation conditions described elsewhere in this policy.

14. Insurance

  • Wanderlust Dive Center recommends that customers obtain travel and cancellation insurance to protect against unforeseen events that may lead to cancellation.

15. Communication for Cancellation

  • All cancellations and rebooking requests should be submitted in writing via info@wanderlustdivecenter.com or by phone at +599-7869918. We will confirm cancellations and rebookings in writing.

16. Acceptance of Terms

  • By booking a course or guided dive with Wanderlust Dive Center, the customer agrees to these cancellation and no-show conditions. These terms are available on our website and will be included in the booking confirmation email.
